Dr Kamal Sandhu
Founder / President
Kamal is a compassionate dentist, multidisciplinary artist, daughter, wife, and mother of three children brings precision, empathy, and intention to both her clinical work and her creative spheres.
An alumna of the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Kamal leads a dental practice in California’s wine country. Her clinical work reflects a deep respect for the human experience behind every smile.Her journey is deeply shaped by resilience and a profound sense of purpose.
Outside her clinical work, Kamal channels her creative spirit into socially engaged cultural work, rooted in the belief that creativity heals and shared human stories can transform communities. Leading with integrity and creating with intention, she empowers the next generation of leaders, artists, and storytellers to cultivate belonging & possibility.

STORY BEHIND
Born between sacrifice and strength, I build spaces where creativity becomes healing, and belonging begins. I lost my father—a war martyr—when I was two years old. His sacrifice became the silent strength that shaped my life. Raised in Rajasthan, India, within a close-knit joint family where stories were a central part of daily life, I grew up surrounded by tradition, love, and wisdom.
My grandparents played a pivotal role in my upbringing, passing down a legacy of resilience, service, and giving that continues to guide me today. Growing up in the shadow of sacrifice, creativity became my refuge—a space to express, to heal, and to dream. From that spirit, Boho Foundation was born—a continuation of my family’s legacy, where creativity, culture, and community come together to nurture belonging and purpose.
Today, supported by my partner, our three children, and my mother’s unwavering strength, I continue this journey—guided by the belief that true purpose is found in serving others and creating value for the community.
